About Us
Established in 1936 Riddle Plant Farm has grown from its humble start in fruit stands and truck farming to its now 6 acres of retail nursery that it is today. Started by Cord Lee Riddle off highway 51 in Sand Springs the Riddle name quickly became synonymous with quality. Carroll Riddle, son of Cord Lee Riddle, along with his wife Chrinor moved the plant farm in 1963 to where it is today along highway 97. Working long hours at American Airlines Carroll was still able to keep his plant farm growing even when falling on hard times. Carroll and Chrinor had four children, all of whom left to pursue other careers except Danny.
Danny and Reta married in 1976 and for 15 years helped his parents turn Riddle Plant Farm in to a retail nursery. For the last 20 years Danny and Reta along with their employees, some of whom have been with the company many years, have worked to turn Riddle Plant Farm in to what it is today. Danny and Reta’s son Daniel now works along side his parents as the fourth generation to the company.
